Importing from another tool

If you already have links somewhere else, do not retype them.

From WordPress

If your links are in ThirstyAffiliates or Pretty Links on a WordPress site, use the plugin. It reads them directly and imports them — including keywords, where the other tool had them.

That is the easiest path by a distance, because there is no file to export or upload.

From a CSV

Links → Import takes a CSV. We recognise exports from ThirstyAffiliates and Pretty Links as they come, and there is a generic template if yours came from somewhere else.

Upload the file and we work out which format it is. If we cannot, you can say.

Preview first

Every import shows you a preview before it writes anything:

• how many rows will become links
• which rows are already in your account, and will be skipped
• which rows have a problem, and why
• whether the result fits your plan

Nothing is created until you confirm. It is safe to preview an import just to see what would happen.

What comes across

Link names, destination URLs, and keywords where the source has them.

What does not: click history and earnings from the other tool. Those live in that tool's own database in its own shape, and inventing a shared history from them would produce numbers that look real and are not.

Duplicates

We match on the destination URL. If a link with that URL is already in your account, the row is skipped rather than creating a second copy.

That means re-running an import is safe. If it half-finished, run it again and only the missing rows are added.

Getting your data out

Links → Export gives you a CSV of your links and keywords, at any time, on any plan. It works during a grace period too, so losing access to the dashboard never means losing access to your data.
